This comparative study aims to characterize formal environmental justice and the right of access to justice in the legal systems of Latin America. All this under the optics of a theory of the epistemologies of the South in order to be able to propose from comparative law some elements of formal environmental justice in Colombia.

Expected results

Consultancy to the national government aimed at influencing the ten-year justice plan. Contribution to legal reflection on basic elements that represent a model of administration of justice appropriate to the special conditions of the different environmental conflicts in Latin America and in Colombia in particular. strengthen awareness of the need for access to justice in environmental matters based on academic reflection.
