Design and development of low-cost real-scale hydrokinetic energy generation prototype for non-interconnected areas

Project Details

Description

With the use of devices (turbines) that take advantage of the energy that comes in the currents and convert it into electrical energy, you can take advantage of all the hydro-energy potential that a body of water can offer to take development to areas without this service leading to growth in the communities, and to the development of these, in the same way it would be a great contribution to the reduction of the pollution that is currently lived

Objective

Design a low-cost hydrokinetic energy turbine to be tested and optimized numerically and experimentally in a real channel.

Expected results

Utility model patent, pilot test and industrial design
