The development of biological products as an alternative for pathogen control in post-harvest fruits, is a promising and environmentally friendly technology, which seeks to reduce the use of agrochemicals and the loss of fruits caused by fungi in the harvesting processes, transportation and marketing the basis of operation of this technology is the ability of microorganisms to reduce or block the infectious cycle of pathogens.
