Project Details

Description

The accelerated loss of tropical forests has been related to climate change and the loss of biodiversity. a group of colombian researchers united by the peace network (platform for studies and analysis on colombia and its ecosystems) has promoted the monitoring of colombian ecosystems, which in addition to global changes recognizes the political, social and economic circumstances colombia is experiencing in the field of post-conflict areas that have usually been isolated due to the occurrence of the conflict may now be threatened by trends in land use change.
