The present project relates current conceptualizations about transmedia narratives and their increasingly common application in the creation of non-fictional narrative narratives (documentary and journalistic) that share characteristics with transmedia fictional narratives. the objective of this research is, first of all, to understand how the narrative expansion occurs in the non-fiction transmedia, a fundamental characteristic of the narration in multiple platforms (audiovisual, written, digital), and to identify the participation of the user within the narratives. transmedia of non fiction, from his role as a fan to that of prosumidor. these two elements will allow the construction of a theoretical model that allows to analyze the typologies that make up these non-fictional transmedia narratives,in the same way that there are clear characteristics constituting transmedia fictional systems.
Create a model of theoretical analysis of non-fictional transmedia intertextual systems (journalistic or documentary).
This project has as its main product a model for the analysis of non-fiction transmedia projects, which could be registered. this research addresses an emerging field of communication that is the transmedia area. additionally, it is sought to deepen in this area applied in the field of non-fiction (documentary and journalism) and is intended to generate an analysis model for this type of products. the model that will be proposed can be applied and replicated in future research projects and between the academic community. the project has the potential to be applied in transmedia courses at the school of communication and enables the creation of a seedbed on the subject of transmedia.
