Geothermal fluids are extracted through deep wells drilled in geological reservoirs, which may be of the volcanic type, which are quite heterogeneous, be present in ancient sedimentary rocks, or in ancient rocky foundations. if the reservoir is not sufficiently permeable to guarantee a profitable exploitation of the geothermal fluids, this permeability is usually reinforced through different engineering techniques in order to facilitate its exploitation. the main objective of this project is to propose methodologies and adequate techniques for the characterization and modeling of fractured geothermal deposits, to ensure their sustainable exploitation and guarantee the acceptance of this type of energy in local communities.
Propose techniques and methodologies for the characterization of geothermal resources and evaluate the perception of the population on geothermal energy, to facilitate the decision-making related to the management and exploitation of these resources.
Article isi-scopus. undergraduate work 1 master's work paper / poster in international event. the results of this research will be useful for the potential construction of geothermal plants in colombia, which in turn will have an important impact on society, being a renewable energy and not affected by climatic variations.
