Abstract

This text analyzes the constitutional environmental law in France. The methodolo-gical design establishes that the focus of the research is qualitative, the discourse analysis is the data analysis technique and the unit of analysis is the legal norms and judicial decisions. The text has four parts: the first one is the introduction; the second part is dedicated to the study of the Environmental charter; the second part analyzes who are and what role do institutional actors play; the third part inquiries about the potential that French citizens have regarding the environmental issue.
