Resumen
The present invention relates to a particle-collecting mechanism comprising a first hood connected to a cover of a polisher, the cover covering a polishing element of the polisher. Additionally, the particle-collecting mechanism has a mechanism for collecting solids which is connected to the first hood, and a fan with a suction element connected to the mechanism for collecting solids. The first hood, the mechanism for collecting solids and the fan are connected to the frame of the polisher. The particle-collecting mechanism allows the collection of solid pollutants that the polishing element detaches from surfaces that it is desired to polish, for example, floors and slabs. In this way, solid pollutants are prevented from entering the airways of people in the environment around the polisher.
